Competition & Social Play


Available for all current enrolled University of Sydney student every Tuesday from 2-3pm during semester (25 February- 22 June, excluding 16 and 23 April; and 5 August- 30 November, excluding 1 and 8 October) providing 30 minutes of tennis for just $2. 

Pop into the Sports & Aquatic Centre during these times (with your student card) and let the front desk know you're interested in the program. Once paid, you'll be given a wrist band and informed of your court allocation. Available on a first come, first serve basis. 


Social tennis presents players the opportunity to play against others of a similar standard in an organised, fun format. The doubles-focused (with flexibility for single-player hit-outs) offering runs at the following times;

The advanced hitting squad is a facilitated training session for players who are of a very high standard. It will consist of entirely live ball hitting with a focus on all strokes and various point play and rally situations for doubles and singles. The session will run for two hours and will finish with 10 minutes of match play. Entry can only be confirmed after your standard has been assessed. Private lessons are suitable for all tennis players that require one on one attention to achieve their goals.  Semi private lessons are also available.


Adult group coaching classes guarantee the highest quality coaching with four adults per coach. Our innovative practices help participants to gain technical & tactical competencies each week. We offer one hour lessons for our 5 and 10 week programs:
