Sydney Uni Swim Club continued its strong
performances on Day 2 with 4 four swimmers making semi finals and three
swimmers  progressing to finals to be
held Friday night.

Emma Gray 
(27.32) and Gemma Johnson (27.38) both swam fantastically in the heats
of the 50m butterfly to progress 6th and 7th fastest for
the semi finals. Gemma produced another personal best time (27.17) to finish 7th
and progress to Friday nights Finals her first National Finals swim. Emma also
had a great swim and finished 14th (27.43)

Matthew Abood cruised into the semi finals
finishing 3rd (22.03) in the 50m freestyle and produced a faster
time in the semis (21.59) to go through 3rd fastest qualifier for
the finals.

Meagan Ramsay continued her good form to
progress through to the semis in the 100 individual medley in 8th
place. Meagan broke the 18 yrs NSW record in the heats with a 1:03.29,
the previous record was 1:03.84. Meagan continued this good form in the semis
to again swim a personal best time again breaking the NSW State record she set
in the heats.  Meagan’s time (1.02.61)
qualified her 6th fastest for the finals
