Brydens Sydney Uni Flames star Katie Ebzery has been selected in the Opals squad that will compete in a European Tour departing later this month.
Ebzery was selected after a gruelling training camp with the Opals squad in Terrigal, New South Wales this week.
The Flames co captain has continued to prove herself after an outstanding season in the Wattle Valley WNBL where she averaged 16.8 points per game, placing her in the top ten scorers in the league. She also maintained an average of 3.5 rebounds and 3 assists proving she is also a fantastic distributor of the ball and was a key factor in the Flames tremendous run into the finals.
Ebzery will travel with 11 other players who were named in the Opals team. They will face Serbia, Italy, Venezuela and World Championship silver medallists Spain.
