Five Sydney University Elite Athlete scholarship holders have been selected to represent national rowing teams for 2011. Nick Hudson (Men’s Single Skull and Quad Reserve) and Kylie Duff (Women’s Lightweight quad) will represent Australia at the Senior A Team World Championships in Bled, Slovenia, beginning in late August. At the Under 23 Team World Championships, staged in Amsterdam, Holland, in July, Ed de Carvalho (Men’s U23 Lightweight Double Scull) and Will Raven (Men’s U23 Coxed Four) will represent Australia. Nick Wheatley will represent his country in the Men’s Coxless Four at the Junior Team World Championships in Eton, UK, in early August. |
