Sydney University Football Club has five players in an extended train-on squad for the Bledisloe Cup series against New Zealand next month.

Hooker Tolu Latu, prop Tom Robertson, fullback Israel Folau, five-eighth Bernard Foley and halfback Nick Phipps have been named in the squad for intensive training camps in the lead-up to the First Bledisloe Cup Test on August 19.

Brumbies players were not selected by Wallabies coach Michael Cheika due to their ongoing Super Rugby finals campaign.
The selected players will meet at their State bases on Thursday for the first mini-training camp before the entire extended squad convenes in Newcastle on Sunday, July 23.

The Wallabies will begin their Bledisloe Cup campaign against New Zealand at ANZ Stadium, Sydney, on Saturday August 19, with the Second Test to be played at Forsyth Stadium, Dunedin, on August 26, and the Third Test at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, on October 21.
