Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness’ School Holiday Sports Program is thrilled to announce the appointment of current Matilda, Georgia Yeoman–Dale, to its coaching staff. 

Georgia is a current member of the Matilda’s National Women’s Soccer squad,  having earned five representative appearances. She has played in the W–League since 2011 representing Canberra United, Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC.

Closer to home, Georgia captained the Sydney University Soccer Football Club’s First Grade team in 2017 after participating in the team’s 2016 championship win. She has since moved on to play for the Macarthur Rams in the NPL New South Wales competition, where the team last weekend drew against the Students, 1-1. 

Career highlights include winning the W-Leagie championship in 2012 and a runner-up finish in the East Asia Cup in 2013. She has also had national honours at school age and U20s level. 

Studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering & Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney, Georgia has also represented Engineering in futsal in our Interfaculty Sport competition. 

Georgia will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the SHP as coach, especially with recent the introduction of their Advanced Development Clinics.
