Sydney University Football Club will have two players coming off the bench for Australia when they take on Italy tomorrow morning (AEST) in the fifth place semi-final at the 2018 World Rugby Under 20 Championships in Narbonne, France.

Backrower Rory Suttor and prop Charlie Hancock have been selected in the squad to take on Italy. SUFC’s other Under 20 representative, backrower Josh Kemeny has been rested for the game.

Australian opened their Championship pool matches with a 26-21 loss to Wales at Stade de la Mediterranee Beziers and followed that with a 54-19 win over Japan at the same venue.

They then lost 27-18 to New Zealand in their final pool match, relegating them to a play-off for rankings.

Kemeny and Suttor were Australian Schoolboy representatives in 2016 before enrolling at Sydney University.

The 193cm Kemeny is a product of the Cranbrook School, while Bathurst-raised Suttor made his way to the Schoolboys side from the Shore School, where he played second-row before being shifted to the backrow during his time with Sydney University Colts.

Hancock only played his first season of rugby in 2016 before being selected in the ACT Brumbies Under 20 side after showing incredible potential. He joined SUFC this season and was a late inclusion in the World Cup squad.
