Sydney Uni is running a social mixed Flag Football competition on Wednesday evenings during Semester 1.
Flag Football is a non-contact form of American Football. You “tackle” the player by pulling off a flag worn at the hips (like in AusTag). The game is played with 5-a-side and involves all of the passing you see in the NFL. It is fast, athletic and a great way to get fit.
Where: St Andrews Oval, Sydney University
When: Wednesday evenings, 6:15pm – 9:30pm, starting on 18 March 2015 and finishing (subject to teams) on 20 May 2015 (prior to Semester 1 exams)
Teams
You can register as an individual player and we will allocate you to a team or form up your own team (6-8 players). At least one member of the team must be female. The registration cost is $50 for an individual player or get a discount of $350 for a team (max. 8 players). An information email will be sent out to all players one week prior to the start of the competition setting out all you will need to know about your team and the draw.
