Sydney University Football Club will be represented in five of the seven Premier Sydney Rugby Union grand finals this weekend.

SUFC will be represented in the Second and Fourth grades and three Colts grades.

Second Grade ran rampant in their Colin Caird Shield semi-final against Manly at Pittwater Rugby Park on Saturday.

Flanker Jackson McCalman scored two of University’s seven tries in the 45-14 result. They’ll meet minor premiers Eastwood in the grand final at Concord Oval on Sunday. The Woodies earned a grand final berth with a 23-18 result over Southern Districts.

SUFC’s Third Grade lost 25-10 to Warringah in their Henderson Shield semi-final at Pittwater Rugby Park. The hosts fielded a massive XV to overwhelm a gutsy University XV. They’ll meet arch rivals Manly in the grand final.

Sydney University Fourth Grade finished minor premiers but only just held on to defeat Gordon 9-6 in a tryless Henderson Cup semi-final. Scott Stumbles landed three penalty goals to earn the Students a grand final against Northern Suburbs, who accounted for Eastwood 18-8 in the other semi-final.

Sydney University’s First Grade Colts maintained their unbeaten run in 2017 with a 48-5 result over Eastwood in their W. McMahon Shield semi-final.

Eddy King ran in three tries and James Armstrong scored two of the Students’ eight tries.

The Students will meet Eastern Suburbs in the grand final at Concord Oval on Sunday. Easts accounted for Randwick 44-22 to earn a berth in the season decider.

Second Grade Colts earned a grand final berth in the Shell Trophy with a nail-biting 22-20 win over Randwick in their semi-final at Chatswood Oval on Sunday. Eastern Suburbs accounted for Northern Suburbs 24-13 to earn the right to meet Sydney University.

Sydney University’ Third Grade Colts hope to add the Bill Simpson Shield to the minor premiership when they meet Randwick in the grand final at Concord Oval on Sunday.

The Students downed Eastern Suburbs 34-7 in their semi-final, while Randwick defeated Eastwood 36-14 to move through to the grand final.

Grand Final: Manly versus Warringah at North Sydney Oval on Saturday.

Fourth Grade: Sydney University 9 (Scott Stumbles 3 pen goals) defeated Gordon 6 at Pittwater Rugby Park on Saturday.

Grand Final: Sydney University versus Northern Suburbs at North Sydney Oval on Saturday.

Colts

First Grade: Sydney University 48 (Eddy King 3, James Armstrong 2, Rory Suttor, Mitieli Tuinakauvadra, Tim Clements tries; Daniel Poletto 4 goals) defeated Eastwood 5 (Brad Meehan) at Forshaw Rugby Park on Saturday.

Grand Final: Sydney University versus Eastern Suburbs at Concord Oval on Sunday.

Second Grade: Sydney University 22 (Sean Hasegawa, Milan Basson, Tavena, Koroisau, Strath Yeo; Joe Schwager goal) defeated Randwick 20 (Patrick Clifton, Christian Poidevin, Steven Gibson tries; Lachlan Day goal) at Chatswood Oval on Sunday.

Grand Final: Sydney University versus Eastern Suburbs at Concord Oval on Sunday.

Third Grade: Sydney University 34 (Dane Stephens, William Wennerbom, Riley Alcorn, Lilas Lawther, ?? tries; William Wennerbom 3 goals, pen goal) defeated Eastern Suburbs 7 at Forshaw Rugby Park on Saturday.

Grand Final: Sydney University versus Randwick at Concord Oval on Sunday,
