Sydney University’s men’s and women’s water polo teams remain undefeated after three rounds of the 2015 National Water Polo League.
The Lions women’s team accounted for the Hunter Hurricanes 7-4 and 9-6 in the opening two games of the season played at Lambton Pool in Newcastle. They continued their streak with a win over Fremantle Marlins at the Peter Montgomery Pool last night.
Meanwhile, Sydney University’s men’s team posted 13-7 and 12-6 wins over the Hunter Hurricanes, followed by a 13-7 win over Fremantle Mariners last night.
The Lions will host the KFC Breakers in Round 4 men’s and women’s action at the Peter Montgomery Pool this Friday night, followed by Round 5 matches against the Brisbane Barracudas at the same venue on Saturday afternoon.
