Sydney University’s Adam Wawrzniak has claimed gold in the U73kg division at the 2010 NSW Judo Challenge.
Held last Sunday, the NSW Judo Challenge is the first of the NSW team selections trials and is the last tournament before the Sydney University Club Championship.
Female Sydney University competitor Annette Mazurek won bronze in the U57kg division.
Other Sydney University athletes who participated during the day included Max Joseph, Ben McMahon, Jarrod Tunks, James Perez and Hannah Jones.
Many of the junior grades competed against Dan Grade (Black Belt) and national level competitors.
