A great hit out against Campbelltown has primed the students for the business end of the season, defeating the Harlequins 48-0 at St John’s Oval.
From the outset, the Uni girls were determined to move the ball against a very physical opposition with some great tries through the back line. The impressive final score was a true reflection of a team effort and all players did a great job.
It was great to see some key players back and the girls put pressure on the defence, building momentum towards the real focus on the remaining weeks of the season.
The girls take on Warringah Rats at Rat Park this Thursday night in a catch up game, and Blacktown this Saturday August 8th at 2pm on St John’s Oval.
