How much are your courses? 

First Aid is $101 in total for Sydney University Students, $138 for SUSF Members and University Staff and $158 for community.

CPR is $51 for Sydney University Students, $68 for SUSF Members and University Staff and $78 for community. 

Do I have to do both First Aid and CPR? 

If you sucessfully complete the first aid course you will receive a statement of attainment for both provide first aid and provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation. There is no need to enrol in both courses. The First Aid course also covers Asthma and Anaphylaxis.

How long will my certificate be valid?

The first aid certificate is valid for 3 years, CPR is valid for 1 year.

How long are the courses?

Both courses start at 8.45am with CPR finishing at 12.00pm and First Aid finishing at 4.00pm.

How do I make a booking?

How do I make a group booking? 

We offer group bookings for 10 or more people, please contact us on 1300 068 922 or education@sport.usyd.edu.au for cost and date availability.

Do you run onsite training (e.g. for schools and workplaces)?

We can run a private course for 10 or more people at your venue for an additional fee, please contact us on 1300 068 922 or education@sport.usyd.edu.au for cost and date availability.

What do I do if I miss my course or can no longer attend? 

Please contact us at 1300 068 922 or education@sport.usyd.edu.au if you are unable to attend. If you provide more thatn 5 business days notice, a satisfactory medical certificate or statutory declaration we can transfer your course to another date. 

If you would like to transfer within 5 business days of your course, please call us on 1300 068 922 and pay the $25 tranfer fee and elect a new date for your course. 

What do I do if I'm running late to my course? 

Please advise us if you are running late or are lost by calling 1300 068 922, if you are more than 15 minutes late you will be unable to participate and will be required to pay the transfer fee and transfer to another course. 

What is a USI and how do I get one? 

As of January 1st 2015, all partipants who enrol in a nationally recognised course, such as First Aid and CPR, are required by the Federal Government to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI) in order to complete your enrolment. SUSF will email you the information required fo ryou to obtain your USI upon your enrolment. Please vist www.usi.gov.au for all information or please call us on 1300 068 922 for assistance. 

How do I access my pre-work? 

Once you register you will receive two emails, one confirming your booking and then a follow up email from our co-provider Allens Training with links to complete your pre-work. 

What do I do if I didn't do my pre-work before my course? 

If you didn't complete your pre-work prior to your course, you can still complete it using the links from the Allens Training email you received when booking. You won't receive your certificate of attainment until your pre-work is completed and a USI is provided. 

How do I get my certificate once I complete the course? 

An electronic certificate will be emailed to you once the course documents are checked and lodged, provided your pre-work is complte and a verified USI has been provided. A hard-copy certificate and wallet card can be purchased at the time of booking and will be posted following the course. 

What do I do if I've lost my cerfificate? 

If you don't receive or have lost your certificate, please email education@sport.usyd.edu.au and we can send through an electronic copy of the certificate. 

What do I need to bring to my course? 

Please bring writing material so you can complete your assessment and in case you wish it take notes and wear comfortable clothing. Please bear in mind that you will be on the ground performing simulated CPR and first aid. 

Where are your courses located? 

Courses are held in the Function Room on the top level (level 2) of the Grandstand on Oval No.2, external stairs and an elevator are available at the southern entrance to the grandstand building.
