Whether you’re a single marker or a beginner golfer, Sydney University Golf Club offers the opportunity to play competitive and social golf at highly discounted rates. The club regularly plays on some of the best courses in Sydney including the superb St Michael’s and Moore Park Golf Clubs. Over the past year, events have also been held in the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley.
Commencing Monday 5th March 2012 the club will hold 15 competition rounds (on Mondays and Sundays) at St Michael’s Golf Club, including social play at the end of the field. An official golf handicap is not required for competition, and all golfers are encouraged to participate and compete. Our weekly practice/tuition nights run by the club’s low marker members at Moore Park Driving Range are a great way to receive support as a beginner or as more experienced player wanting to improve your game off the course.
For international students and players without their own clubs, SUGC can provide a limited number of sets.
Represent Sydney University
At the end of September, SUGC will send both a men’s and women’s team to the annual Australian University Games, this year held in Adelaide SA, in addition to other competition games throughout the year at various locations.
