Archery

The Sydney University Archery Club, established in the 1970s, caters to all levels of archery, from the beginner to the elite.  Members compete in various competitions through Archery NSW and Archery Australia at club, state and national levels.

Currently a club member ranked in the top 20 in the Australian Ranking list. At the recent competition State Metropolitan Championships, club members came Third Division 1 Men's Recurve, First and Third Division 2 Men's Recurve. Over the past years the club has members with top 10 placing at National level.

The club trains on an outdoor range at St Paul's Oval, enabling members to train up to 90m, the furthest distance for Open Men's FITA events. Basic equipment and coaching is available to members and personal equipment is also welcome. Training times are Tuesdays and Fridays 1-5pm all year.
