Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Scholarships

For over a century, sport has been a component of the student experience at the University of Sydney. The University boasts more than 300 Australian Representatives, including 115 Olympians and more than 100 Wallabies. Since its inception in 1990, the Elite Athlete Program has become a leader in the provision of services to elite athletes.

Blues & Golds

Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness not only rewards outstanding sporting achievements through their Elite Athlete Program (EAP), but it also recognises and rewards outstanding achievements and contributions to sport at the University through awarding Blues and Golds.

Blues

The Blue is the highest sporting honour at the University of Sydney. It is awarded for outstanding performance in a sport during a twelve-month period.

Blues are awarded by the Blues Committee subject to the authority of the General Committee to any student who, under the rules of Australian University Sport, is eligible to participate in Australian University Championships or Games and is recommended by that Club.

Golds 

A Gold may be awarded by the Blues Committee in recognition of services rendered by a member to a Constituent Club or SUSF for a period of at least seven years.

Nominations for Gold awards may be made by Clubs, the Management Committee or the General Committee.
