One of the privileges as a member of SUSF is to book and secure yourself a spot in one of our popular group fitness classes. Unfortunately some members constantly seem to have forgotten to cancel their booking when they couldn't make it, which came at the disadvantage of members who were advised that the class[es] were full and were turned away. Up until now members on the waiting list had to wait right up to the start of the class and for all booked members to show up before being allowed entry if a spot in that class had become vacant. In the past, and especially in equipment based classes, this has caused disruptions during the warm-up phase of the class and was quite unsafe.

Therefore and based on the feedback we received we have revised our booking policy to make it fairer and safer for everybody. Members now have to be here at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of a class they've booked or their spot will be forfeited to a member on the waiting list.

So with this policy in place and in the interest of the safety of all group fitness participants we no longer will allow anybody into equipment based classes like BODYPUMP and/or BODYSTEP once the class has started! In all other classes it is at the discretion of the instructor up to what part of the warm-up he/she will allow latecomers entry to a class. However, once the warm-up is over so is their chance of accessing that class.

NO WARM-UP, NO ENTRY - NO EXCUSES, NO EXCEPTION!
