The Blue & Gold Club

The Blue & Gold Club is a coterie of business organisations and individuals who share a passion for sport. They use popular ‘Blue & Gold' sporting functions to provide affordable and really memorable entertainment for their guests.

Although ‘Blue & Gold' sporting functions date back to 1997, the concept of a ‘Blue & Gold' Club was launched three months prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympics at a function attended by 750 "good sports" and Lord Sebastian Coe as the guest speaker. The ‘Blue & Gold' Club celebrated its 14th birthday in May of 2011.

The ‘Blue & Gold' Club allows sporting enthusiasts to maintain or create links with Australia's premier university and its rich sporting traditions. All monies raised go towards the promotion of sport at Sydney Uni.

The various functions all have a special ingredient - that ‘Blue & Gold' difference - which enables them to stand out from the crowd. ‘Blue & Gold' Club members enjoy fine food and beverages at upmarket venues.

The Club also:

  •  finances two ‘Blue & Gold' sporting scholarships each year
  •  keeps its members up to speed on all ‘Blue & Gold' matters of interest by sending them ROAR magazine
  •  provides members with lots of specific benefit
