Karen Dalton

Flames Coach

 

Karen Dalton has coached the Sydney University Flames for eight seasons as head coach.

The former Sydney University basketball star, now coaches the next generation of promising Flames. Formerly, she was assistant coach of the Australian Opals and Under-21 women's teams. During the 2001-2002 season she was named the WNBL Coach of the Year.

Karen Dalton played 375 games in the WNBL. Dalton played four World Championships and 252 games for her country. She is also a WNBL Life Member.

Perhaps most exceptional, she competed at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.
