Life Membership

Who is eligible?

Any University of Sport graduate/staff member who has paid the equivalent of five years’ sports fees is eligible to become a life member of SUSF.

Undergraduate Alumni

• Pre 2006, they paid a compulsory sports fee and automatically became a member
• After 2006, they paid $55 per year to become a member if they wanted to join SUSF

Postgraduate Alumni

• Did not pay the compulsory sports fee so always had to pay a member fee each year if they wanted to join SUSF

University of Sydney Staff

• Had to pay a member fee each year if they wanted to join SUSF

How do I become a Life Member?

This must be done in person. You must come into the SUSF Admin Reception officen where you will be required to present one of the following:

• Graduates in undergraduate studies – copy of academic transcript (pre 2006) showing the number of years.  After 2006, some ID so that our database records can be accessed to show their membership records.
• Graduates in postgraduate studies etc – some ID so that our database records can be accessed to show their membership records.
• University of Sydney staff – Uni staff card so that our database records can be accessed to show their membership records.

Once, everything is in order, a life membership badge is handed out.

 
Benefits

• You are still required to pay $55 per year, but you will know receive the concession rate for 3, 6 or 12 month passes which is equivalent to 20% off the community rate.
• You receive voting rights at the SUSF AGM or Annual Elections.
