Intramural Sport

The newest of the sporting competitions for on-campus students, Intramural sports (IS) is an integral part of Sydney Uni's distinctive residential experience. IS is more than just a sporting competition, we partner to offer some world-class sporting experiences with visiting sports and national sports organisations.

Intramural Sport

The intramural sports program hosts the Thomas Whalan Cup (men's sporting competition), the Liane Tooth Cup (women's sporting competition) and in 2016 sporting events with our partners the University of California Berkeley Bears (grid Iron), University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriers (Grid Iron) and the Australian Baseball League.

Queen Mary Building, Abercrombie Student Accomodation, International House, Mandelbaum House, Urbanest, Sancta Sophia College, UniLodge and Sydney University Village are all member residences of Intramural Sports and as such the competitions and events are available to all who live there.
