Sydney University Staff Courses

Need a break from lecturing? Is your back getting sore from sitting in a chair? We're here to help!

Come and meet other University staff members in one of our lunch time courses. Join us in Yoga or Pilates to help improve your core strength and flexibility. Taught by our qualified staff, our programs can improve your posture, pelvic stability and help you relax while gaining peace of mind.

YOGA

  

Increase your flexibility, strength and stamina whilst you cleanse the body, relax and gain peace of mind. This course can lead to increased core strength and overall fitness.

WHEN Wednesdays, 12:00 - 1:00pm

COURSE DATES 16th January to 3rd April (12 sessions)

You now have the option to book the full 12 sessions, or booking partial sessions within the course:

Block 1: 16th January to 20th February (6 sessions)
Block 2: 27th February to 3rd April (6 sessions)

WHERE Group Fitness Studio, Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre

COST* $190 (12 sessions) or $110 (6 sessions)

PILATES

Improve your flexibility, muscle strength and tone through a total mind and body workout of floor exercise with no impact. Pilates involves performing a series of slow, controlled movements that focus on developing good posture, pelvic stability and rebalancing the body through correct breathing and alignment.

WHEN Thursdays, 1:10pm - 2:10pm

COURSE DATES 17th January to 4th April (12 sessions)

You now have the option to book the full 12 sessions, or booking partial sessions within the course:

Block 1: 17th January to 21st February (6 sessions)
Block 2: 28th February to 4th April (6 sessions)
