Sydney Uni Sport and Fitness will be running FREE Water Safety classes for University of Sydney students in Semester 2, 2018.
These sessions will allow students who have no or limited experience with the water to learn basic water skills, stroke and water survival skills in a safe and friendly environment.
Over a 10 week period students will receive 1 x 30 minute session each week as well as additional pool access outside peak hours to practise their newly learnt skills.

The timetable for Semester 2 is below. From the selection of times below you will need to choose the time that works best for your University timetable and stick to that time slot for the whole of the semester. You will not be able to switch times each week.
Where: Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre, Peter Montgomery Pool.
Start Date: All courses will start in Week 2 of Semester 2, 2018.

After 3 weeks of structured lessons, your Instructor will advise whether you have passed an extra component which allows you to practice outside of lesson times, by yourself. You will recieve a SUSF swipe card which allows you access to the pool on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (throughout the remainder of the 10 week program) from 9am - 12pm in Lanes 7 & 8.
