Sydney Uni Archery Club saw mixed results at the Warringah Open over the weekend, their first competitive event for the year, but can take solace from the achievements of Leah Ramchandani who took out second place in the Female Recurve Division.

Ramchandani finished with a score of 676 and a rating of 60.0, slotting in at second behind Warringah Archer Inc’s Leanne Spencer.

In the same division, the Club earned a sixth and seventh-placed finished. Other results saw Sydney Uni Archery Club finish 16th and 19th in the Male Recurve.

In other news, the Archery NSW Annual Presentation Awards Night were celebrated on Saturday 14th March, honouring the high-performing archers of the 2019 season from across the state. Performance awards were presented to archers who shot the highest scores combined from all state tournaments in their respective divisions.

The club had two archers who received these awards:

Kun Ho Lim – Longbow Junior Male Performance Award

Adam Leung – Barebow Recurve Junior Male Performance Award

Congratulations to all award winners and Leah on a weekend of fantastic achievements!
