Our Brydens Sydney Uni Flames are gearing up for a big 2019-20 WNBL season, and we hope you’ll join us.
In 2003, Sydney University took ownership of the WNBL Sydney Uni Flames, which competes in the Women’s National Basketball League. The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames take pride of place as our signature women’s program and won the WNBL Championship in 2016/17.
You can support the team by coming down and cheering for them at their home games, which are played inside Brydens Stadium at the Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre.
So far the team are proud to welcome Katrina Hibbert as Head Coach, accompanied by returning stars Alex Wilson, Tahlia Tupaea, Lara McSpadden and Sarah Graham, as well as new recruit Lauren Scherf.
