Sydney University’s Bianca Chidrawi capped off a tough month of Challenger series events in Mildura, Kalgoorlie and Sorrento (WA) by winning both the Women’s and Mixed Doubles events at the 2008 Geraldton Easter Open over the long weekend.
Chidrawi teamed up with rising star Anna Wishink from Sandy Bay in Tasmania to take out the Humfrey Land Developments Ladies AMT Championship Doubles. Seeded two, Chidrawi and Wishink defeated WA’s Andrea Cooper and Emma Tullett in the final 6-2 7-5. In the Cellarbrations Wonthella Mixed Doubles Championship, Chidrawi and Cumbo’s Matt Tink won all five of their Round Robin matches to secure the title.
