Sydney Uni Soccer’s women’s team have again been crowned NPL 1 club champions with three rounds left on the calendar, sitting a comfortable 35 points clear of Sydney Olympic.

A dominant round 19 showing against Northern Tigers, where they maintained an undefeated record (4W, 1D), and a flawless round 18 effort against Macarthur the week before, scoring 23 goals and conceding none across all grades, sent them well above the pack.

Sydney University lead the First Grade, Second Grade and Under 17 ladders, while the Under 15s and Under 14s are sitting third.

First Grade’s victory have pushed them out to a five-point gap between second-placed Sydney Olympic and in top shape to secure the minor premiership.

The club faces off against Manly United at Cromer Park No.1 on Sunday to continue their hot run to the finals.
