Brydens Sydney Uni Flames are proud to announce the return of one of their superstars, Rohanee Cox for the next Wattle Valley WNBL season.

Rohanee has been playing with the club since 2011, where she instantly injected experience, scoring power and strength into the side. She has become an invaluable member of the team over the years and is another of the squad’s core group to return along with Tahlia Tupaea, Katie Ebzery and Casey Samuels.

Upon re-signing with the Flames, Cox spoke with optimism, “We had a great season this year, but we have so much more potential that is yet to be realised, I’m excited to be playing with the team again to try and build upon the strong foundations we have laid”. She said.

Head Coach Shannon Seebohm was delighted to have a player of Cox’s calibre return to the club for another year. “I am really pleased that we have been able to re-sign Roey for another season. She has been a proven performer over many years in the WNBL and was crucial to our success last year.” Seebohm said.

The Flames are excited to have secured a number of their longstanding players for the upcoming Wattle Valley season; and hope to round out their roster with more exciting player signings soon.
