Sydney University Women’s Hockey Club’s five Metropolitan League teams are in contention for finals berths at the halfway mark on the 2018 competition.

The Students are fourth on the Metropolitan League 1 ladder on 18 points after 10 rounds. Moorebank head the competition on 23 points, with Ryde-Hunters Hill (22), Gordon-North Sydney (10), Sydney University, UTS (17) and Macarthur-Blacktown (14) making up the top six.

Moorebank also head the Metropolitan League 2 competition on 25 points, with Strikers (24), Macarthur-Blacktown (17), Sydney University (14), Gordon-North Sydney (14) and Ryde-Hunters Hill (13) making up the top six.

The Metropolitan League 3 is also headed by Moorebank on 25 points, with UNSW (22), Sydney University (21), Manly 16), Mosman Harbourside (15) and UTS (13)

Sydney University are fourth on the Metropolitan League 4 ladder on 17 points, with Wentworthville 25, Glebe (22), UNSW (21), Mosman Harbourside (16) and Macquarie University (13) making up the top six.

The Students are also fourth on the Metropolitan League 5 ladder on 19 points, with Mosman Harbourside (23), Moorebank (23), Manly (22), Macarthur-Blacktown (19) and St George (15) making up the six.

Sydney University will meet UTS at Cumberland Oval this Sunday.
