Dear all,
Lachlan is currently based in the city of Cologne in Germany with a number of other Aussie athletes who are Beijing bound.
On Wednesday morning (4:45AM Sydney time) Lach will compete at the Gran Premio Andalucia in Jerez, Spain. Its a hot field with Mbulaeni Mulaudzi from Sth Africa just added to the start list. He has an 800m PB of 1:42.89! Quick!
This is Lach’s first race of his European tour and he is looking to settle in and get some good racing experience. He hopes to compete in another 3 – 4 races in Europe before returning to Oz at the end of July for some final preparation before Beijing.
I shall keep you informed on his progress in the lead up to the Olympic Games.
