Sydney University Soccer Football Club is on track to field six of seven teams in the finals of the 2018 NPL Men’s 3 competition.

With eight of the 26 rounds to be played, only the eighth-place First Grade are struggling to make the top six come preliminary finals time.

The other six age teams are all in the top four of their competitions, with Sydney University heading the Under 18 and Under 16 ladders.

The Under 18s are on 45 points from 15 wins and three losses, with Gladesville Ryde Magic (40), St George City (39) and Hawkesbury City (35) making the top four.

The Under 16s head the competition on 49 points with 16 wins, a loss and a draw, ahead of Granville Rage (45), St George (38) and Stanmore Hawkes (35).

Sydney University Under 20s are third on 37 points, with Gladesville Ryde Magic (43), St George City (38) and Hawkesbury City (36) making up the top four.

The Under 15s are second on 43 points, with St George City (45), Nepean (42) and Granville Rage (42) making up the top four. The Under 14s are also second, on 36 points, behind Bankstown United (41), with St George City (35) and Nepean (35) making up the top four.

The Students’ Under 13s are fourth on 37 points behind St Goerge (45), Fraser Park (38) and Hawkesbury City (38).

First Grade are in eighth place on 25 points. St George (39) head the competition, with Bankstown City (36), Hawkesbury City (36) and Gladesville Ryde Magic (36) making up a congested top four.

Sydney University will host Dunbar Rovers in a Round 19 match at Sydney University Football Ground this Saturday.

NPL 3 NSW Men’s competition – Round 18

First Grade:  Sydney University 2 (Jovan Blagojevic, Panayoti Gotsis) drew with Granville Rage 2 at Garside Park on Saturday.

Under 20: Sydney University 3 (James Reed 2, Maxwell Glanville) defeated Granville Rage 1 at Garside Park on Saturday.

Under 18: Sydney University 4 (Sean Comer 2, Elliott Jaggers, Jack Karssemeyer) defeated Granville Rage 1 at Garside Park on Saturday.

NPL 2 Men’s competition – Round 18

Under 16: Sydney University 2 (Nathan Pepe, Danny Knight) defeated Bankstown United 1 (Thomas Allen) at Arlington Oval on Sunday.

Under 15: Sydney University 2 (Thomas Van Gool, Lucas Bucciarelli) defeated Bankstown United 0 at Arlington Oval Saturday.

Under 14: Sydney University 2 (Duke Bushby, Samuel Nichols) defeated Bankstown United 1 (Benjamin Thomson) at Arlington Oval Saturday.

Under 13: Sydney University 5 (Elad Ben David 2, Christian Falato, Massimiliano McAuliffe, Ernesto Espinosa Brain) defeated Bankstown United 0 at Arlington Oval on Saturday.

 

NPL Women’s competition – Round 18

First Grade: Sydney University 4 (Annabel Martin, Stephanie Ambrose, Georgia Pollitt, Charlotte McLean) defeated Blacktown Spartans 0 at Blacktown Football Park on Sunday on Sunday.

Reserve Grade: Sydney University 2 (Georgia Pollitt, Karly Vouros) defeated Blacktown Spartans 1 (Ashlie Crofts) at Blacktown Football Park on Sunday.

Under 17:  Sydney University 0 drew with Blacktown Spartans 0 at Blacktown Football Park on Sunday.

Under 15: Blacktown Spartans 4(Clare Holder 2, Amelia Savetta, Bryleeh Henry) defeatedSydney University 0 at Blacktown Football Park on Sunday.

Under 14: Blacktown Spartans 2(Chelsea Barton 2) defeated Sydney University 0 at Blacktown Football Park on Sunday.
