Sydney University Women’s Soccer Football club posted four wins and a draw against Bankstown City FC at Sydney University Football Ground on Sunday.

SUSFC’s 3-2 result over Bankstown City took them to outright second on the NPL NSW Women’s ladder after 12 rounds.

Taren King, Melissa Caceres and Julie-Ann Russell found the net for the hosts, while Vesna Millvojevic and Stefani Skerlevska posted goals for the visitors.

Northern Tigers head the NPL NSW Women’s First Grade ladder on 26 points, with Sydney University (25), Blacktown Spartans (25), Illawarra Stingrays (24), Sydney Olympic (23) and Macarthur Rams (20) making up the top six.

Sydney University also posted a 3-2 result in Reserves Grade, a 7-1 scoreline in Under 17s, a 7-2 result on Under 15s and a 2-all draw in Under 14s.

The Students sit second on the Reserve Grade ladder behind NWS Koalas, head the Under 17 ladder, lie fourth on the Under 15 ladder and second on the Under 14 ladder.

Sydney University will host Blacktown Spartans at Sydney University Football Ground this Sunday, with games starting at 10am.

Under 15: Sydney University SFC 7 (Poppy Tay 3, Charlotte Hampshire 2, Raina Prasad, Talia Kapetanellis) defeated Bankstown City FC 0 at Sydney University Football Ground on Sunday.

 

Under 14: Sydney University SFC 2 (Sarah Farrow, Luca Davine) drew with Bankstown City FC 2 (Liana Calabro, Jessica Narvaiza) at Sydney University Football Ground on Sunday.

 

 

NPL 3 NSW Men’s competition – Round 12

First Grade: Stanmore Hawks FC (Jovan Blagojevic 4, Peter Yannopoulos 2, Conor Quilligan, Timothy Wohlfiel) 8 defeated Sydney University SFC 0 at Arlington Oval on Saturday.

 

Under 20: Sydney University SFC 2 (Caelan Hinckson, Luke Del Vecchio) defeated Stanmore Hawks FC 1 (Lucas Caragher) at Arlington Oval on Saturday.

 

Under 18: Sydney University SFC 5 (Ali Faour 2, Thomas McCoubrie, Oscar Derkatch, Jackson Sumich) defeated Stanmore Hawkes FC 1 (Thomas Barone) at Arlington Oval on Saturday.

 

NPL 2 NSW Youth competition – Round 12

 

Under 16: Sydney University SFC 2 defeated Fraser Park FC 0 at Fraser Park on Sunday.

 

Under 15: Fraser Park FC 3 defeated Sydney University SFC 2 at Fraser Park on Sunday.

 

Under 14: Sydney University 1 drew with Fraser Park FC 1 at Fraser Park on Sunday.
