The scoring round was the WA 60/900 (Canberra Round) where archers shoot 90 arrows at three different distances (60m, 50m & 40m) for a total possible score of 900. All four Sydney Uni Archers competed in the 20 and Under division and medals were awarded for first, second & third place.

The Sydney Uni team were outstanding, finishing with the following results:

Edward Deng finished in first place, with a score of 771 points in the Male Freestyle Recurve division.

Skye Truong finished first, scoring 360 points in the Female Barebow Recurve division.

Julian Vu scored 236 points in the Male Barebow Recurve division, also ending up with first place.

In addition to all our competing archers winning a medal in their respective divisions, the Sydney Uni Archery Club won the Recurve Perpetual Shield for the greatest accumulative score, beating out all other archery clubs in NSW.

The next major tournament the team will compete will be at the NSW State Short Course Championships and the National/State Indoor Archery Championships in July.
