Sydney Uni Staminade are pleased to announce the signing of two additional riders to the team, rounding out their elite rider roster for 2018.

Anna Booth started racing in QLD in 2014, however she has been racing in Victoria after moving there in 2015. Anna will be moving to Sydney in July this year.  Anna has raced some of the crits in the USA and Canada in 2017, and she started 2018 with a bang, landing a top 15 spot at the Nationals Criterium. When she’s not riding her bike, Anna is working as an Occupational Therapist assisting employees return to work following injury or illness.

Vicki Whitelaw is a former pro-rider from Canberra.  She participated in the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 UCI Road World Championships.  In 2009 she rode for Vision 1 racing, and then in 2010 and 2011 she was with Lotto Ladies, then Lotto Honda Team.  She came first on GC in the Tour Cycliste Feminin International Ardeche in 2010, and fifth in the Road and also in the ITT at the National Championships in 2011.  That year, she was 28th in the World Championships, an exact repeat of her result the year prior.  In 2010, Vicki was 12th in the road race in the Commonwealth Games, 7th in the ITT, and 18th in the World Championships in the ITT.  Vicki is a soft tissue therapist and exercise physiologist.

The Sydney Uni Staminade team are looking forward to having the power of both riders, and also the depth of experience and wisdom of Vick, for the remainder of the season.

NRS racing for women starts at the Battle Recharge from Friday 27 to Sunday 28 July in the Tweed Valley in northern NSW.
