For the second year in a row the Sydney University  Swim Club has been nominated as a finalist for GO Club of the year award, and for the fourth consecutive season has been awarded Gold Go Club status.

SUSC hopes to make swimming history and become the first club to win the award twice when the winner is announced at the Australian Telstra Swimming Awards in Melbourne on November 22.

“It is great to see the club is so healthy and strong, to again be nominated is a credit to the committee and coaching staff who work extremely hard to maintain such a high standard,” soach Vanessa Smith says.

“The club has had another exceptional year in the pool and Go Club gold recognises all club members for their commitment and dedication to the club.”
