Information about WYD08 road closures
There will be significant road closures and special event clearways throughout the CBD and Eastern Suburbs during World Youth Day.

The RTA has also produced a series of interactive flyover maps, showing how to get around Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs during World Youth Day events.
WYDCA will keep local residents advised of road closures, special event clearways, or other World Youth Day activities that may affect them.
Special resident access parking schemes will be in place for certain WYD08 events. More details on these schemes will be provided on this website and the RTA website.
Residents affected by changed traffic and public transport arrangements will be advised by letterbox drops, public announcements, local media and via this website.
All reasonable effort will be made to minimise disruption to those people living around major WYD08 events.
