Who is eligible?
Any University of Sydney graduate or alumni who has paid the equivalent of five years of SUSF membership fees or annual memberships is eligible to become a Life Member of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF). You are also eligible if you were a member of the Sydney University Sports Union or Sydney University Women's Sports Association and have paid the equivalent of five annual subscription fees to either of these former bodies. Please note, the Member Facility Code forms part of your Life Membership of SUSF and governs Life Member use of SUSF facilities. It may be changed by SUSF from time to time. Notice of changes will be provided via the SUSF website.
How do I become a Life Member?
This can be done in person at SUSF Head Office (below the Sports and Aquatic Centre) or via email to email@example.com. You will need to provide evidence of the following:
- Graduates in undergraduate studies pre 2006 – copy of academic transcript or letter from University of Sydney showing the number of years of enrolment and graduation.
- Graduates in undergraduate studies across the pre and post 2006 period or after – copy of academic transcript or letter from University of Sydney showing the number of years of enrolment and graduation (SUSF database will show annual memberships paid post 2006).
- Graduates in undergraduate studies post 2006 – copy of academic transcript or letter from University of Sydney showing graduation (SUSF database will show annual memberships paid post 2006).
- Issuance of a Life Member badge or card or written bestowal of Life Membership by the Management Committee upon any person who has been a University Member or a member of either of the former sports bodies, Sydney University Sports Union or Sydney University Women’s Sports Association
Upon receipt of the information and verification, a life membership badge will be provided and you will be recorded as a Life Member.
As a Life Member, you are eligible to receive Concession rates for 3, 6 or 12 month passes which are discounted from the Community rate (access to these reduced rates or use of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF) facilities requires a current SUSF annual membership).
