Do you need to kick-start your fitness or are you ready to face a new fitness challenge? Our Boot Camp has been redesigned and has the luxury of both indoor and outdoor locations! Our group training includes a mix of boxing, stairs, hills, body weight, circuits, abs, running and much more in a fun, safe and effective training environment.
Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Swim School provides programs for all ability swimmers, from 2.5 years to world champions. Our philosophy to swimming ensures that swimmers find their time in the pool a challenging and positive experience. From learn to swim our programs are technique based, with the addition of distance and endurance for our squad swimmers. We offer the opportunity for our squad swimmers to compete in local swimming carnivals through to Australian national championships as well as swimming for fun and keeping fit.

SUSF offers personal training sessions in either a one on one or a two on one basis, to provide unique and individual training programs which provide long lasting results. Our trainers are fully qualified with years of experience in weight loss, strength and muscle gain. Our programs are holistic and utilise a wide variety of the facilities on offer at the Arena Gym and Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre, including state of the art cardio and weights equipment, a 50m indoor pool, indoor sports halls and University ovals.
Sydney Uni Tennis prides itself on providing professional and the highest quality tennis coaching available in Sydney. We deliver official Tennis Australia ANZ Hot Shots (Junior Tennis Programs) and Adult Coaching Programs, and welcome anyone to join from beginners to advanced players. We cater for juniors, adults, parents, university staff and students, and demonstrate a commitment to all those interested in playing tennis.
Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness provides an extensive range of Group Fitness Programs, including Les Mills Group Fitness and HIIT classes, as well as Aqua, Yoga, Pilates, Aerobox and Kickbox Muay Thai.
These programs are held at the Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre in state-of-the-art facilities and with leading coaching staff. All group fitness classes are available to Silver (Group Fitness) and Gold pass holders. We offer over 65 classes per week.

Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness kids camps keep your children active and busy during the school holidays. We provide them with an opportunity to learn a range of sports, keep fit, have fun and meet children their own age in a safe environment.
Camp prices range between $115 - $235* per camp with aftercare each day for $30 per day
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) hold a four-year University degree and are allied health professionals who specialize in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. AEPs provide support for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, mental health problems, cancer, arthritis, pulmonary disease and more. Our AEPs are registered with Medicare Australia, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and are recognized by most private health insurers.
Short courses are a fun way to sample and develop new skills in a sport or dance you are new to. Running during semester for between 4 -8 weeks, they are very easily fit into your University timetable, often just one hour per week of a night time and held on campus. Our short courses are open to everyone; students, staff, community, SUSF members & non-members are all welcome.

Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness offers ongoing or one-off Wellness Programs for local businesses or University of Sydney staff from faculties/departments held at the Sports & Aquatic Centre.
Our multi-faceted approach focuses on training and nutrition. We work with participants to develop better nutrition and lifestyle choices through appropriate exercise sessions conducted by highly qualified Exercise Physiologists and elite athletes.
Lunchtime Social Sport is open to Sydney Uni students, staff and the general public. Grab you friends or colleagues and enter into any of our compeititions. Some of the competitions that we run are Futsal, Netball, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis and Touch Football.
Our Seniors Wellness Program is a purpose-built, supervised group training program that addresses the broad range of health and wellbeing needs of those over 55 years of age. We offer four different classes each with proven benefits to stenghten muscle tissue and reduce the chance of injury and osteoporosis.
Classes are included in any Silver (Group Fitness) or Gold pass but can also be attended on a per class basis by community members without a gym pass.
Intercollegiate sport is an integral part of Sydney Uni's long and rich sporting history; providing residents of St. Andrew's, St. Paul's, Sancta Sophia, St. John's, Wesley and The Women's Colleges with opportunities to represent their college in various sporting events.
Each year since 1939, Sydney Uni students and staff have competed against each other for the honour and pride of their faculty in a variety of sports. Competitions include touch footy, soccer, netball, basketball, cricket and tennis to name a few. Points are awarded to the winners and place-getters of each competition whilst participation points are also given to all faculties whose students compete. The faculty with the most points at the end of the year wins and is awarded the Emily Small Shield!
The newest of the sporting competitions for on-campus students, Intramural sports (IM Sport) is an integral part of Sydney Uni's distinctive residential experience. IS is more than just a sporting competition, we partner to offer some world-class sporting experiences with visiting sports and national sports organisations.
